Joe Paterson

The 87 games Joe Paterson played for the Hershey Bears were only a small part of a lifetime spent in hockey. The Toronto, Ontario native has returned home as an Assistant Coach for the AHL Marlies. In between there have been stops in London, Kalamazoo, Adirondack, Denver, Flint, New Haven Binghamton and Phoenix in the minors. Paterson also played 291 NHL games with the Red Wings, Flyers, Rangers and Kings.
The left wing scored 31 goals for the Bears over parts of two seasons in the mid-1980s. Paterson currently resides in Toronto with his wife Marcia.
